• A slight increase in oil: "Brent" $ 55.3 and "American" $ 52.4

    Brent crude futures rose to the nearest maturity, today, by 0.14 percent to trade at $ 55.3 a barrel.
    Also, West Texas Intermediate (US) crude prices rose to the nearest maturity, by 0.3 percent, to trade at $ 52.4 a barrel.
    Prices are rising recently due to a voluntary reduction by Saudi Arabia of its production by one million barrels during February and March 2021.
    Prices had risen with the start of licensing vaccines to prevent Coronavirus, and OPEC + agreed to extend the production cut agreement until the end of the year.​
